Nomination Critics' Choice Awards 2021: Ozark e The Crown le Serie TV con più candidature

Un anno fa come oggi, la Broadcast Television Journalists Association aveva già proclamato i vincitori del suo prestigioso premio, i Critics' Choice Awards. Questa volta, a causa della pandemia di Covid-19, bisognerà attendere il 7 marzo per conoscerli, mentre solo nelle scorse ore sono state annunciate le nomination dell'edizione 2021, la 26esima. Colpo grosso per Netflix, che guida la classifica ideale delle serie tv più nominate con Ozark e The Crown. Entrambe hanno ottenuto sei candidature, anche come miglior drama, categoria nella quale competono tra le altre con la serie rivelazione Lovecraft Country e con This Is Us, unica serie broadcast. Sono 26 le nomination accumulate quest'anno dal servizio di video in streaming, di poco ma sopra l'iconica HBO con 24, mentre nella lista dei più nominati ci sono anche Mrs. America, la favorita per le comedy Schitt's Creek e What We Do in the Shadows. Tra le novità, poi, una categoria riservata alle serie di forma breve, dominata dal già defunto servizio streaming Quibi.
